If you are looking for homebcooked meal, you've come to the right place! Went in for lunch today and really enjoyed it. I ordered a BLT with a side of sweet potato casserole. I enjoyed every bite! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and also said that it was very good. Our nephew had the hamburger steak and fries. Also good. Our service was great and and I thought the price was fair. Now, the only I could say is that if you want crispy bacon, you might want to mention that to your server. They have amazing desserts as well, including fried pies. This place definitely gets my seal of approval and we will return!

Real Food! Country Cooking at its best. I got the fried pork chops, and it came with 3 sides. They were 2 large chops. I couldn't eat it all and was delicious! They also have fried pies!

Brighton, Tn downtown delight! Our company has been doing some roofing work in that area and we were told of this place. Very hometown cute with a friendly staff. The specials are written on an old fashion chalkboard but there's also a menu as well. There are open for lunch till two, the opens back up at four for dinner! I had the Taco salad with a side of green fried tomatoes ( I couldn't resist) Keith had the pork chips with fried green bean & mac n cheese. We added a lemon & chocolate pie to go for later this evening. Very clean, bathrooms are small but clean (note not handicap accessible). Plenty of parking and lots of hometown goodness. Located in the old downtown district of Brighton, Tn. It's about one mile off of hwy 51 and worth the detour.

Best Fried Pork chop I've EVER had. Also, best Fried Green Tomatoes I've ever had. Food was excellent, staff were friendly, prices were low, portions were high!. Just moved here from GA and will be bringing all of our out of town visitors here from now on.

Nice place. Away from the hustle and bustle. Good food and great service. I was waited on by one of the owners. I looked around and saw what others were eating today and Porch Chops were the big thing today. I got mine in sandwich form. Never thought I’d be bragging about a porch chop sandwich but here I am. Almost like a Memphis bbq, you have to eat your way around the outside first. Followed that with some coconut pie and it was a wonderful lunch. Enjoy.

I haven’t been here in a while and so glad I returned. Fantastic food! I love fried green tomatoes and these were the best I’ve ever eaten. Delicious country fried steak either white gravy (I’d call it chicken fried steak in Texas). My companions had the enormous pork chops and an equally enormous salad. Everything was wonderful, freshly made, and reasonably priced great selection of sides. If you have the opportunity don’t miss a meal here!
